We had a wonderful time at a relaxed get-together to celebrate the opening of the new community BBQ facilities built by the Murrumbateman Community Association, funded by NSW government grant — and to meet many in ourt community.
When: Held on Friday 30 January 2026, temperature was 39 degrees but a cool breeze broke through the 77 year old oak trees
Where: New community BBQs, Village Green, Murrumbateman Recreation Grounds
We had drink donated by the 1st Murrumbateman Scouts and the Murrumbateman Field Days
We had Sausages on the BBQ 🌭 made fresh that day by the Murrumbateman Butchery – they were the best!
It’s a casual, family-friendly event — come along, say hello, and enjoy the new facilities.
