Today, MCA submitted our submission to Yass Valley Council providing community views to improve parks & playspaces in Yass Valley. We are looking for clearer guidance for future development, including recognition of the importance of embedding recreation & open space provision early in new growth areas, especially in our rural & village areas. Prioritising opening of new greenfield sites for future regional parks, genuine provision of playspaces for “all-ages”- from babies through to seniors, with more consideration of recreation for our youth.
