On ground works & projects completed or progressed 2024-26

By MCA & volunteers:

• installation of inclusive electric BBQs, shelters and table settings, completed. Assets transferred to Yass Council Oct 2025
• mowing of village green and grounds outside oval, ongoing
• Mens shed rear of building painted & artwork installed, completed
• painted facades/posts on community hall, completed
• removed old horse yards, completed.

By Lions Club & volunteers:

• Footpath from carpark to bridge near war memorial in Jones Park, completed
• mowing/triming of gardens at Murrumbateman entry signs, ongoing

By Equestrian Club volunteers:

• repinned all horse jumps on cross country course
• testing sand surfaces as not suitable for all equestrian 
• power connected to the equestrian clubhouse/storage shed,completed
• fencing along north boundary of Recreation Ground, completed 
• installed round yard, completed

By Council:

• amenities building & ring road sealing completed
• new public toilets
• regular mowing of oval
• all-abilities (enhanced category 2) playground construction at 10 Hercules 1200 sqm land owned by Anglican Church. Expected completion late 2026
• upgrade speed humps on South St.
