Our events allow us to provide donations to community groups for their volunteer services and other event profits are reinvested back into the community.
We consult with community to lobby governments to inform considered strategic planning and delivery of assets to enhance lifestyle benefits for our residents and the wider community. Read more below.
We Support Community
The MCA is dedicated to representing community interests and advocating for public community benefits by engaging with the Yass Valley Council, NSW State and Federal governments.
As a central association for community initiatives, we focus on organizing events and activities to bring people together. We are supported by real community volunteers and our events showcase local businesses and community groups. Since our inception our events have raised over $1.7 million to reinvest into our community to provide community recreational and other infrastructure, and charitable causes. Our support is multi-facetted through in-kind, volunteering and financial efforts.
We invite everyone in the community to contribute to the MCA’s vision by attending meetings, following us online, contributing to feedback forums, and participating in our key events. Your involvement helps your voice to be heard in supporting considered growth for Murrumbateman and strengthening community—all while enjoying yourself and making new friends!
We encourage you to share your skills to help the MCA deliver services and opportunities that you and the community desires for the local character of Murrumbateman.
